The Madagascar 200 Ariary Banknote was issued by the Central Bank of Madagascar in 2004. The green banknote bears French and Malagasy texts. Its obverse features a thatch-roofed gateway to a village and highland houses. The reverse depicts carved funerary posts and zebu skulls on graves. It contains a red and green solid security thread with BFM 200. Its watermark reflects a Zebu cattle’s head and an electrotype 200. It is 126 x 63 mm in size and is signed by Frederic Rasamoely. This particular banknote is in uncirculated condition.
